Changing character name for free

i just delete my char, go on a friends account or a trial account and make a character

with the exact same name as the char you just deleted, then log back on your

account and ask the GM to restore your character, he will say that your old name is in

use now and you will be able to change your name.

This is no more possible, GMs mostly adds 1 letter to your name end or generate new name randomly

Ive changed my name a year ago with almost the same method.
like : Qker--->sounds kukker when you say, and kuki means penis in hungarian language
the GM said that i have to wait a few mins while he check it in the dictionary, then he said its isn't there, and ive just said that its only in street language, thats why he couldn't find it.

Well, if you have a name that isn't to RPish it's pretty easy to get it changed acctually.

Say your name is Devilboy or something silly like that. Open a ticket yourself, or have a friend open a ticket where he whines on your name. Religious names isn't allowed in WoW and there is a big chance that you would have to change.

Most names are somewhat easy to get changed if they refer to something IRL.

How do I know this? Well, let's just say that when I'm bored, I go into BGs, look for phunneh names and get them changed.

The other day, I met a guy called "Monasahlin" or something. Mona Sahlin is a Swedish politician. I opened a ticket where I claimed that Mona Sahlin has very strong political opinions and that I'm offended by the name. Poof, the poor fella had to change.

So unless your name is total jibberish, just have a friend act like he's offended by it.

I found that the best way is to have a bunch of friends report you. Just make up a reason.

For example a while back a friend and I started 2 shaman, Greeneggs was one, the other was Andspam. He decided to change "Greeneggs" (paid for it lol) so I was stuck with "Andspam" which is a hell of a lot less funny by itself.

So I had a bunch of people both from my guild and in other guilds report "Andspam" as not allowed, as Spam is a registered trademark.

Boom, went to log in and had to change the name. Changed it to something less retarded for free, yay.

i dont see how this is an exploit why didnt you just use an english name unless you scammed someone(is this the meaning) i dont see how this helps?

I tried this, just in another way. I logged on my friends char, then i said that the name was the name of my brother that died in a car accident and that it really made me sad everytime i saw it, but then he just answered quick:

"You sure this has nothing to do with what you said in guild chat about reporting yourself on another character?"

I admitted it tho, and he said I didnt get perma banned since i admitted that i lied to him..

btw i tried this like 4 hours ago my name is " Mocoz" so i told blizzard that it was an relegious statue. well the gm said "Mocoz is fine and is not in our unavailable names" and so it didnt work
