btw i tried this like 4 hours ago my name is " Mocoz" so i told blizzard that it was an relegious statue. well the gm said "Mocoz is fine and is not in our unavailable names" and so it didnt work

Try again, every single GM is real person and thinks differently.

You can! Tell them some people from sweden is annoyed about your name cuz it means "Damnedtroll" in english, and yeah well you're not allowed to swear in wow so you will get an name change...


Edit: My old char was named Göranpersson, which is an swedish politic fag, and I got reported for this, so I got an name change like "You are being named after an politic profile, fully illegal", thro a 9 year old kid tried to scam me and renamed the char "Pontana" -_-

2 It doesnt work in 80%. GM will just add random letter q w e r t y ... to ur name, and ull be named dickP

i just did this last night.. i told the GM that the name Raijy means rape in Lithuania. he said that he was going to "Investigate it with their translators" -.- and NO it didnt work at all. screens or it didnt happen!

Prety much easy, doesnt have to be related to a swear or such in an other language, just think a bit about your name and find yourself a reason why it shouldnt be allowed, then ask a friend with a wow acc via phone (no logs to report you for that reason). The reason DOESNT have to be good.

Ea: my old character used to be deathwing, I aksed my friend to report me because he was shocked on how an idiot(me) could be named like the grrrreat deathwing from the wow lore(WASNT on an rp server). bam next time I logged in I could chance the name of my char.
