Just because people can't get your exploit to work (which, by the way - it doesn't) it means they're trolling?

I'm sorry man but this all comes down to lag. All Quartz does is show you how much you lag when you begin casting a spell, and it assumes that lag will stay constant throughout the cast and shows you when you can begin casting your next spell for maximum efficiency. Of course it doesn't always work since latency inherently fluctuates, but it's a good estimate.

Since one of the recent patches the need for /stopcasting macros was removed so that laggy players aren't at a disadvantage. The server still keeps track of your cast time and your GCD - what you see going on through your client, if you're lagging, can be pretty different than what's actually going on server-side. While it may look like you're casting two spells at one, you really aren't. I've had it happen to me countless times before when I've been lagging but it is simply a client-side illusion. So unless you want to post third-person video of this actually working, I suggest you stop calling people trolls for confirming what is true - that this exploit does not work.

Yes it works. When the bar reaches the red zone, it will basically go off, even if you move

It makes me laugh coming back to this and reading some of the posts. Popz OBVIOUSLY has the hang of it and is loving it.

here are some pointers i made to make this obvious to some of you would-be flamers...

    IT DOES WORK
    IT IS NOT LAG
IT IS CLIENT -> SERVER BASED
OTHER PEOPLE HAVE MADE IT WORK
    IT IS ALL ABOUT TIMING
OTHER PEOPLE HAVE MADE IT WORK

Before you flame, read those pointers...

DOESNT WORK. makes no sense. just thread #1000 that posts some vaguely explained "exploit" that no one can disprove, the answer is always "try harder, you are doing it wrong, need better timing". and these posts are made to farm rep, no other reason.

When your cast is ALMOST to the red, cast an instant, IMMEDIATLY followed by another cast (frostbolt, fire, etc.)

    - you cant cast anything immediately after the instant. its a full 1.5 sec GCD.

When its halfway casted, hit frostbolt again, and you will charge a second frostbolt, and BOTH will hit at the same time! I can hit a mob twice for 800 at once with this trick!

-the only way you will cast the 2nd FB halfway thru the 1st cast is if the red area of your quartz is 1/2 of your casting bar. otherwise it gives an ERROR message. END OF STORY.
