FYI in arena food / drinks dont come into full effect until you have been eating and drinking for either 5 or 10 seconds, hard to remember the patch notes.

pretty sure its 2 seconds.

Im afraid that this exploit is client-side only. Witch means even since you actually see yourself standing, on server you are sitting and everyone else see you as sitting. Can your arena companion confirm it? (somehow i couldnt made it to work with my mage)

You can also do /mountspecial and your character will stand for 3-4 seconds, then sit down again.
