Um, no you can't. As soon as you open the first gate you come to, he runs to his position near the Gauntlet. No class can do anything at all before he moves.

Come on test it before you start with your bull....And before you make a comment, READ! Go around from the main entrance, instead of going towards scarlet side go to strat side and barthilas will still be stading in the beginning and he wont move anywhere. Kill him and gz, you got BEST (imo) idol for trash tanking.

its nice but very OLD, i as a warrior do this by targeting the skeletons inside furthest away, click the gate and spam charge, switch to zerker stance and intercepts the boss ; works just as good, or if u are abit lazy just get the weapo "The Decapitator" from Price Malchezzar in Karazhan and u can just run in and throw it on him. (might still requier to charge once)
