Simple warlock Dark Pact trick

When you are summoning a new pet, right when it appears it'll have partial health and mana but after a split second the pet health/mana bar jumps to full. If you click dark pact immediately after summoning, you'll gain the mana from your pet then his health and mana bar will immediately jump to full. Basically by doing this you can effectively lower the mana cost of summoning any pet you use.

unfortunately, this doesn't regain very much mana as you can only click it once before the minion's health replenishes. useful trick though

Well on my 62 warlock I can click it and regain more than half of the summoning mana. Nothing major, thats why I said simple, but could be very useful when trying to conserve mana when in a pinch.

Rofl, i found this out as well, and was really thinking about posting it.

You do dark pact just before your summon actually GETS its mana, so you take mana having it not lose any

in my guide it says that

Rank 1: drains 150 mana from pet an gives you 100%
Rank 2: drains 200 mana from pet an gives you 100%
Rank 3: drains 250 mana from pet an gives you 100%

why would anyone upgrade the ranks either way you get full mana, the higher ranks only make your pet loose more mana.

Or dose it mean that you get the amount of mana you sucked out from your pet?
