I was wondering if its possible to say in the /say chat?

If so, maybe u could get the addon to prevent the DC for ur arena partner(s) and use it in arena to DC, you're fellow opponent. That way its free rating ^^.

I know that when you say some in chat the others wont see it in the same langauge. But maybe it works. Anyone that knows how to make it in /say

Would surely be possible in some way, the problem is, first, get the text translated to other languages (if, for example, your enemy is alliance and you are horde) and second, type it into /say. I saw a thread about that some time ago...

Or AV... or any BG,

or in Black Temple general chat, to screw over your competition guilds during a boss encounter.

The limits are really endless, I just hope someone can figure out how, then it'll be a lot more than a very bad exploit.

The Gmotd Command worked in my alt's guild, but what about dc'ing single players by displaying "|3" in their chat other ways, e.g. in /w or /s? I whispered a friend of mine with "|3", but it didn't work, neither did "\1234".

I've done some digging around, this looks to be part of 2.4.2's new plural string escape codes, and is likely to be correctly implemented with the next patch, but i dont have ptr access here atm so can't check.

that the "|" being printed by the ASCII Chat Command \124 is already disabled for most /script commands, but it seems they forgot the /run GuildSetGmotd command. Sadly, the only way this exploit works is through the ASC II command, simply sending "|3" to any Chat won't do a thing. As soon as Blizz finds out they forgot to ban the \124 from the /run commands, they will propably be able to fix it within a second. Sorry if I described it kinda funny or all this was perfectly clear to most of the users already, I just figured it out for myself since I'm not exaclty into this whole programming language thing
