that the "|" being printed by the ASCII Chat Command 124 is already disabled for most /script commands, but it seems they forgot the /run GuildSetGmotd command. Sadly, the only way this exploit works is through the ASC II command, simply sending "|3" to any Chat won't do a thing. As soon as Blizz finds out they forgot to ban the 124 from the /run commands, they will propably be able to fix it within a second. Sorry if I described it kinda funny or all this was perfectly clear to most of the users already, I just figured it out for myself since I'm not exaclty into this whole programming language thing

I hope they dont start blocking the | character from guild APIs, thats the thing responsible for all the cool coloured guild notes and MotDs i write :-)

Also: for those of you who see this exploit and want even more, like in chat channels, it cant be done, so don't ask

Blizzard Customer Service reps are apparently now aware of the exploit (still works though). But never mind that; someone in that thread had a great idea. Ask a known officer/GM of a rival guild to "test" the crash script. It's really easy to type, and the one who actually does it might get actioned.
