this won't work anymore next patch there was a blue post about it today.

If a team does not enter an arena match that is starting they will lose points equal to the amount that would have been deducted if they had played and lost.

thats so stupid of blizzard, say someone DC's before the match, thats an automatic -points. Should be allowed to not join in my opinion. Fu*king retarded idea.

der to prevent loosing rating AND/OR Personal rating, DO NOT LEAVE THE QUEUE WHEN FACING ANOTHER ARENA TEAM!!!! Just let it time out.

you are wrong, you can just leave the queue when only one of the team's queues pops, you wont lose any rating.

Sorry to be a noob but I havent arena'd much but can you do this with 2 horde teams or does it have to be alliance and horde??

Arena allowes alliance vs alliance, hordevhorde, so you can do it with any faction aslong as it is in the same battlegroup.

OK, Im a rogue and play with a mage. We hit 2200 in 2v2 with out wintrade. For Rogue/Mage it is really risky in 2v2 because if we get a warlock we lose. Our Bg is pretty small and think 2300 will get us glad. So do we need to buy a team at 2200? to get us at 2300?

You can load WoW more than once on 1 computer, can make it easier to queue 2 teams on 1 PC so you can see instantly if the queue is at the exact same time, and not have delays anywhere.

Afaik you can gain more or less 100 points more than a team, meaing you should (afaik) be able to farm a team with 2200 rating (considering it doesn't go lower in rating) till you are 2300, from what i've read.

Got another question if we do this with 2 teams at about 1600 in the morning so that only 1 team wins do we get to ~ 2k rating? i thought about the onen team is loosing every time so the other one gets the rating and if the looser team gets too low we make a new arena team so that its around 1500....

does this work too?

or do we need to get 2 teams with 2k rating?
