Sunwell Scout Farming

The scouts in Sunwell Plateau drop reasonabley good loot (sunmotes were hotfixed off their table for this reason), they can be killed and reset and have a very small hitpoint pool - around 20K HP.

There is a spot to the wall just past the first left pack on the wall next to the Protector (Deactivated) that anyone can stand without being aggroed.

What you need:
1x Invisibility Potion
1x Ressurector
2-3x RANGED dps
1x Stealther (Makes things a bit faster)

What you want to do is get a rezzer to pop an invis pot and secure himself on the wall just next to the protector. Hug the wall so you dont get aggro from the pack or the Protector itself.

That rezzer logs out in that spot when its safe (Get a rogue to figure out the prime location), and your friends run in mounted and die relatively close to be rezzed.

Once everyone has been rezzed the ressurector logs out and waits on standby. There is a scout that pats past to activate the protector you are standing next to. Basically you want you dps to stand as close as possible without pulling aggro and fire everything they got once he gets in range. He should go down trying to activate the protector and sometimes will drop loot.

Did it for around 2-3 hours, got BoE Druid Chest pattern, 5-6 Epic gems and the Thrown Weapon.

I tried it once so far, as a mage, and i solo'd it using invis to get there and arcane power to burn him fast. He only dropped a gold or two (i know he won't drop anything good most of the time) but how do i pull him alone rather than that group of 4-5 other guys coming, and how long is the respawn timer? if you can tell me that then +rep for you

The respawn timer on the scouts is instant. The scouts are all tied to another pack of mobs and if you don't kill the entire pack it all respawns inc the scout.

In the beginning, why only let the resser run in invised and then let everyone else die? To spare repair cost you could just all pop invis pot ^_^

Secondly, I don't quite get this. When you pull the scout, the entire pack aggros... Does this mean that you'll wipe each time? If so, it doesn't really sound like it's worth it.

yeah you will wipe each time unless they are all rogues and wait for vanish CD all the time.
