wow, we're going in a compeletly different direction, I won't be surprised if we actually come up with a new way to target rouges...lol.

Now this might sound retarded, but someone try it out -
Once you have the stealther in proximo/personal sentry/whatever, make some sort of a macro that will ASSIST the target in proximo/PS, then target previous. I'm too lazy to do it myself.
This wouldn't work for unstealthing enemies instantly tough, as you must have seen them before. But if a rogue manages to vanish, a druid restealths, a night elf shadowmelds or something.
This is my first time posting here so don't mind the leecher status![]()
ok we are getting closer, macro gurus out there apparently the macro stops the rendering of stealth server side so you just see a player walking around slower then everybody else. Google searching with new key words ftw ill report back.
could be quite handy
Any update to this?
EDIT: Big ass thread on the wow forums brought me to this thread: WoW Forums -> [Exploit] Stealth Detection

cant believe it hasnt been fixed yet
Hmm i think i found it, though i'm not sure if it is still working.
its not a macro but rather it is the following: (this is not my work ect)
There use to be an exploit on stealth seeing. If you got the purple stealth sacrafice and right when u got it the game ended you were entitled with a see all steallth benefit. This exploit was changed to where it removes that debuff when you leave arena but . . . If you have 5 buffs on and the stealth detector it wont take it off and you will see stealth i believe this is the problem you have been facing and I believe it is going to be fixed if not already.
could this be it? good chance it is....
while that may work, the exploit in question uses macros to target stealth players from max range. it's for sure a macro and it may have something to do with camera angles / target of target mechanics
Done quite a bit of testing on this. Once the rogue/druid/ w/e is stealth, the information of that character stops being sent to the client. (Meaning once their stealthed, their stealthed. Period.)
However, the macro is probably stopping an event or something from being captured client side. (Client sends a packet to the server saying "player x stealthed. Don't send any more." and "player x unstealthed. Send me info again.")
Basically stopping that communication of sending the server to go ahead to stop receiving the stealthed players information, is the basis to this. (I think...)
By the way, just from my thinking, this isn't a normal "/cast foo" type macro. Think scripts! LUA experts get your thinking hats on and get this nailed.![]()
No one wants to post the macro yet?
It's been posted.
Apparently the ignorant people are too oblivious to have noticed, or gave up on it after 12 seconds.
I'm pretty sure thats what Ezzi posted. It was 2 macros that did it.
