High doubt this will work, I haven't bought any Arena items since 2.4 but I do know honor rewards have you click like 3 conformations making sure you know what you're buying. When ever Blizz adds these sort of things they refuse to refund your points since you obviously agreed to what you were buying like 3 times and theres really no way to accidentally click it. Can't say I tested it but you can't say you did either, just figure they didn't add that for nothing.

in case of an arena item you normally have 7 days to make a ticket to have your points back, and they never discuss neither flag your account joker

S4 will most likely come out at the end of the Arena Tournament, which has 6 weeks for each of the 2 qualifying rounds, plus the rest of the tournament. So it will be a while.

I bought the S3 2hander after 2.4 came out, played with it for a day and gave it back, the fact that you click smthg confirming you bought it on purpose doesnt matter, you dont even have to say why you wanna return it as long as you do it within a week.
I doubt they will accept to return the points, cuz there ll be a maintenance in between.

He means that, a day or so before S4 comes out, go to the arena vendor and buy something. When S4 is released, I'm assuming points are reset (I don't know much as I'm not much of an arena go-er) so you can call a GM and tell him that you thought u were buying the S4 stuff and wish to get your points refunded. This will result in you having a tonne of points at the start of the season, when even the best teams are still working for them. Hope that cleared things up

this can work, but you have to spend the points first before opening a ticket:

IE, buy a 1000 item before s4, then when you get points for the week you'll be at 5k. buy another item first, then trade back the 1000 item for your points back. if you try and trade back an item for points while you're capped at 5000, the points just disappear.
