Hmm.. Apparently I got flamed. Anyhow, I thought it was kind of weird as it is an AoE ( I know..). But it doesnt do any damage at all, only silences.


And to all that said " COOMMON SENCE NEEWB!": It might be common sense for you, but not for everyone. Blizzard even had to make " You can eat and drink on the same time" a tip. Now, would they do that if everyone knew it?

Okay. I would like for you to stop lying in your signature. No Priest would ever be able to get full T6 or S3 without knowing that Holy Nova is sitting on the second tier of the Holy Tree. A Priest was my first character, and I found that out when I got to level 10 and looked at my talent trees. I said "OOH, COOL! An AoE spell!".

It's an AoE that puts a debuff on the target. Why would it not break stealth?


More importantly, if you are fighting as a Priest, I can think of multitudes of reasons why you'd want to save a 2-minute cooldown SILENCE that does AoE... It's negligent to even try to use that on a Rogue. Seriously, unless you are 0/0/61 Shadow, it's very, very easy to get Holy Nova and then use rank 1 spam to unstealth Rogues...

The Cons with that silence is that you have to get in almost melee range to be able to silence people, on my way, they have already finished casting that spell and started to jump around casting instantcasts etc. I rather get an Fireball hitting me for 2k then getting stunlocked to death by a rogue.

I do believe you posted this two times. These forums don't have a delete function, do they? Irrelevant, I suppose.

As for your signature, yes, I thought that just might be your character. After all, you are a Blood Elf Priest, just as I am a Belf Paladin :P

I just find that silence to be wildly useful, even if you do need to get into melee range. It ranks right up there with War Stomp in the "cool aoe" department, and it gives mana back, too. All I know is that a good Rogue isn't going to be unstealthed by a single aoe 99% of the time.

And if you are Shadow, I'm sorry, I suppose :P

I also have no intention of "reporting you". You didn't really do anything wrong. I'm in a spot of a bad mood the past few days, being that it's my birthday and I'm stuck in my dorm room with no way to get home. Makes me kinda grumpy.
