Database changes not taking effect (2.4.3)

So, i was using stoneharry's spelleditor (local version), i modified a few spells values and some cast times, then i exported the dbcs and put them in the data/dbc folder of the repack i'm using. Then i made an MPQ patch (patch-3.mpq) and put in the data folder of the client. However, whenever i start the repack and login those changes don't take effect, and the game still uses the old values and cast times from before i modified them. Anyone can help?

You can debug what the issue is by what changes are taking effect. Does the spell show the new cast time in the spell description? That means the client correctly has the changes. Does the spell cast with the right time but display wrongly? That means the server has the correct changes.

It's possible the server is not actually loading the data from the DBC files, some emulators take the data from SQL instead.
