Model edits not taking effect in WoW

Well, i Have tried to use a model edit for BE Male to Be female Onto wow (Yes i downloaded it from this site, and and using Model edit fix) and placing the file named patch-3.MPQ into the data folder, but the game seems not to see it, as even if i log in normaly it sees no difference.

Im using Windows Xp, anyone know what is going on?

I'm having same problem, trying to Edit Troll male to Undead male.. Did the same things and didn't take effect :<

Nevermind, works for me now, I just renamed the .mpq to .MPQ
