CreatureDisplayInfo.dbc - WoWDev
CreatureModelData.dbc - WoWDev
Creature Model DBC defines a model ID that points to a M2 (MDX) file.
Creature Display DBC defines actual display ID's that point to model ID's and skins.
Sorry, forgot to mention that my serv is 4.3.4 cata (trinity). Is it still gonna work?
So I opened ModelData added a new string with the patch to an .m2 file, then went to Table and cloned a record, changing the id and adding the stringID into the 2nd column.
Then I opened DisplayInfo, added a string with a name, then went to Table and cloned a record, changing the id, 1st column to the id from ModelData, and 6th and 7th columns to string id.
Then I opened wow and morphed using the record id from DisplayInfo.
Then wow crashed.
In the model pack I downloaded are only .m2 .blp .skin and .anim files. Is there any way to mae an .mdx file from them?
I checked both tables and everything is correct. I got the models from here: Modcraft - View topic - [RELEASE] Warlords of dreanor - Burning Legion edition from the link in Mr.Farrare's comment.
I corrected something, went into the game and the model worked. However, it had no textures and was completely green. Then, when I demorphed and morphed again, my wow crashed, and even after restarting wow I couldnt morph anymore.
