help! first timer! i need help starting my 1.12.1

I have followed 3 guides and just cannot figure it out. Im just wanting to play vanilla wow like a single player rpg im not trying to get it online or anything. any help would be awesome!! thanks.

Maybe a little more information on where you are getting stuck will help us help you. What point are you getting stuck at? What guides are you following? etc etc.

ok so i have atarathi pre tbc installed in program files. i moved ad.exe to wow directory and made the maps folder. ran it and then copied the maps folder to atarathi pre tbc. then i run mangos and when i click on start sql it says the disk w is busy. i click start realm and a cmd window pops up for a second and goes away. StartmangosDB does the same thing. i have windows vista. if you can i have team viewer if you would show me that way

A description like this doesnt deserve help. ffs start using your brain and post us logs or even more important: READ THE FCKING ERROR MESSAGE. They are there for a reason.
How is anyone supposed to help you without any kind of screenshot / logs / link to the stuff you are using / etc?

ok so that doesnt help at all. i dont know that the error message means. really im just asking nice people to help me. you really dont have to post a response if your not going to help. Youre just adding insult to injury. i was never rude to you so im confused on why you have to be that way to me. help, dont help. either way thats not a way to act in a democracy.

ive been googling, looking through these forums and watching youtube(which is a waste) for like 6 hours now. i am losing sanity really fast. ive came to the conclusion that i really want to have an offline emulator of wow 1.12, but i dont know how to do it. so i really just want help. like i dont know if i asked that question in the right way or not but thats what it is.
