    Object Problems, discussion about objects.

    Hello humanity of Ownedcore!

    I have some problems with object and i think you have them too.



    FIRST.

    When you put soo much object onto one area and when you come there later with a speedup ( mount, mod speed, std) the objects loading slowly and appearing piece to piece..
    Q: IS THERE SOME WAY TO PRELOAD THEASE OBJECTS?

    SECOND.

    If you make a maze event ( for example ) when the goal is to reach the end of the maze, the worst is that when a mage is comming and blink to the end..
    Q: IS THERE ANY WAY TO MODIFY THE OBJECTS TO MAKE THEM "unblinkable" (soo make them like walls of stormwind or something like that) ?

    First question:

    GameObjects are not small pieces of data. To send them all to the client takes time. Since emulators work by a cell system, every time that cell is loaded and unloaded for each player and the server, it uses a ton of resources. This is why you shouldn't use many game objects.

    You can maybe have it gradually load or always loaded by modifying how the game objects behave in this map, area, or for a set flag. This requires C++ knowledge and is not simple.

    Second question:

    You need to generate collision from gameobjects, similar to the way collision is generated for M2's and WMO's when movement maps are enabled. This is a complicated algorithm and nobody will do it for you.
