A server for a PvP focused LAN?

I haven't been playing with this kind of stuff for 3-4 years now. Last time I had my own server was back in burning crusade. I am now a complete newbie again but I have a few questions, some which may have been asked countless times in here, but please hear me out

I want to set something up for a lot of arena and BG kind of action for a 10 play lan two weeks from now. I am not interrested in vanilla but anything else is great. What works best? What is the easiest thing for me to do? I am interrested in stability and classes working 'perfectly' for pvp.

If you can point me in the right direction for what to host, to a nice thread or something that would be great.

Any 3.3.5a TrinityCore repack would get you going pretty quickly with stable relatively bug-free content. Since you are only going for a LAN and not anything serious, I wouldn't recommend compiling yourself as you need a lot of tools for the job and it takes longer to set up. But it is entirely up to you.

Thanks. 3.3.5 sounds cool. Now I just need to find a blizzlike repack, and those I can find don't have any working download links
