Make sure the "ascent" is the password you chose for your MySQL server.
Also make sure your databases are named Auth, World2 and Character.

If you didn't compile yourself and this is a repack, make sure you
A) run on a correct revision
B) have a patched version of WoW.exe (this is important!!)

A unpached exe would still let you in game

remeber to change the realmlist table in the authdb. Check what the defualt settings were in the skyfire emu - the only ones that you needed to change was the database ones.
