Logon and World Error

Hey guys, I got my server up and running again but small problem. When i launch the logon and world.exe it says The application failed to initialize properly (0xco150002). Click on OK to terminate the application. This repack has worked before, I just reinstalled windows xp pro again and reformated the system. I have installed Windows Service packs 2 and 3 and have Visual C++ Redistrubution and Net framework 4.0. Is there anything else I need as this is not a bad repack, it has worked before and the exact same one. Again, I have Windows Xp Pro.

I had the same problem when I had to reinstall Windows 7. The main thing I had to do was make sure I had a mysql that my server could connect to. I used
mysql 5.0 and tested it with Navicat to see if I could connect to the Database via Navicat.

2. Install Navicat.Download here...http://www.navicat.com/en/download/download.html

3. Install mysql and setup your connection.

username: root
password: password

5.Install Navicat

5. Run Mysql command promt and type your password. (make sure its still running)
6. Open Navicat and click new connection.Enter your Mysql information. Click test connection. It should say connected.
7. Under that new Connection right click and choose add new database. Type a name for your database.
8. Now check mysql to see if the database was added. (Go where mysql was installed) usually- Crograms/mysql 5.0/data
You should see your database name in there.
9. You can add the database files to your database by either sql or by copying them them from your repack in- nameofrepack/server/mysql/data/logon,characters,world, etc
10. Now check your server files, logon config,world.config and make sure the mysql connection info and database names are correct.
