Pre-Cataclysm Azeroth

I tried a search in the top right and got a million Cataclysm results. How can I make sure that when Cataclysm comes out I can have a Pre-Cataclysm server in case I ever get nostalgic and want to visit Azeroth as it was before the Cataclysm?

Well you can, aslong as you keep 2 Folders 1 for cataclysm and 1 for Pre Cata. Its a common failzor ppl make allways keep an extra folder of your wow and only upgrade 1 of them and leave the other so you can go back =)..

So I should just copy the whole folder and never update it?

Never update the folder. Turn of all auto updaters and only use single file patches.

I run 4 different versions of wow fine.

Yeah, Just keep one folder for pre Patch 4.0.0 and one folder for Cataclysm, like said above keep all auto-upaters off by deleting them.

Make sure you have a backup of a pre-cata core as well so you can, ofc see azeroth and everything else as it was before the expansion comes out.

Exsactly =) its not that hard, right click and copy it =) and you should be fine unless you screw it up ofc =)
