Changing quest's item

Hai,
is it possible to change item needed for any quest? I mean, for quest X I need item glowcap. I don't have glowcap, so I want change glowcap to something else...for example - any herb And is it possible to complete quest with it? ^^ CE can't work, same with cache edit... any other ways?

Sorry to bust your hopes but no it's not possible :-/

You can do just about anything with the cache when it comes to visual representation, on some servers a while back even cast spells.
But with quest turn-ins, it's about the ID in your bag and wether it is or isn't present and this, can't be altered.

And I can't think of anything that could.
