Last night I've had an idea of "creating a new game" out of WoW.
But, I'm a total noob about programing and stuff, so I was googling tutorials.
I need 3 more tutorials but it's pretty imposible to find them, so I'll try my luck on this forum asking you to show me where I could find the guides I need.
So far, I've created my own private Mangos server and one GM character using tutorials on reaper-x.com page (How to create custom npc on Mangos - Reaper-X).
3 more things that I want to do are:
- 1. - Create custom areas, starting zones, etc. I'm following Toyoka's guide (http://www.mmowned.com/forums/world-...-building.html), but is there any better guide, since this maybe won't work with 3.x.x .. (My server is 3.3.3)
- 2. - Change login picute / animation screen / music. I've heard some ppl talking this is impossible, but I hope they were talking about modding official game.
- 3. - Since I would like to create a "different" game, I'll need to have some other races and classes like the fellow from this video YouTube - Custom Death Knight WoW Private Server. So, is it possible to customise "character creation" screen?

Please if you can point me to the tutorials, I know they are somewhere out there, but I just can't find them
