    [EM] / [ArcEmu] Which Emu

    ok Well here it goes

ArcEmu + WhyDB aint good at ALL!! I mean so many bugs it's almost countless.

I tried Mangos but they want to get so much trouble sum I don't get the GIT thing it goes not responding, so Mangos is out, Trinity Core 2 and Aspire are out dated and I saw Trinity Core 2 bugs, server restarting when you get to a boss...

ArcEmu has SVN which I like and easy to kinda edit? but.... so many bugs ... and ArcEmu ain't fixing these bugs.

    Which totally sucks xD

So what can i do to improve the ways of the bugs, there are so many! What is the best options for currently 3.3.2 (the players already have that client) and also one which I can convert the logon and character DBs to that emu's DB configurations?

    Welcome to Emulation.

OT: If you want a good DB/core which have alot of bugfixes i'd recommend investing in a privately developed core. Else there's not much you can do about ArcEmu not fixing any bugs, unless you can fix them and contribute the fixes yourself.

Imo: Alot of work comes from ArcEmu, they have a public source they develop at NO COST. They do there best, theres quite a small team of them, and they accept help from the public, look into a private core, fix the bugs in the database, im sure everyone else would love to help you.

Yes but after the coders at Ascent screwed up the whole emulator with messy code, they are very strict. If you want to contribute to the project with a database, then they couldn't care less since they do the core work, if you want to contribute with SQL fixes, again give it to the team who do the database because ArcEmu don't, if you want to contribute with core fixes though then you can submit it in a patch format in the specific forum for that on there website. They will only apply it if it is up to standards, for example the code has been tested and follows the correct structure (they provide information on how it should be coded).
    Good luck!

O hur dur, good man. Have you seen what for example MeSoX did to ArcEmu? I don't think they/you should point at Ascent. As far as I know Ascent worked fine in *nix-based environment. That's more than I can say about Arc .

Compile Trinitycore and it will work and its not dated its for 3.3.2.

If you compiled it you have done something wrong.

"Coders at Ascent" does not mean everyone, reread what I said.

Edit: I said "the coders" which implies everyone, I apologise for I meant some coders and not all.
