[MaNGOS] Account and character management

Hi!

I have a Mangos 3.3.2 home server (6.26).
Is it possible to copy a character from one account to another? How?
Can I duplicate characters? How? How to change their name?
Can I import characters from wow armory somehow?
(like this: MangRound: Live Character Copy , this is outdated unfortunately)

You can do all of these. Just they take time.

1.) A character is assinged to the account ID, this is in the characters table, get the account ID that you want it to go to, and change it to that, that should make it appear on the other account.

2.) Same as above, go into the character table, copy the line, put it in again, change the character index to a unused number, change the name in one of the columns, done.

3.) This will require you to do it manually i beleive.

Your welcome. Im sure someone has made a script to rip characters from the WoW Armory, but im sure thats private.

It's actually not that simple, because there are other tables like character_inventory, character_skills, ... whose contents you would also have to duplicate for the new character.

I was going from how i did it on ArcEmu, didnt take into account that ^. It shouldn't be hard to change it all over.
