[ArcEmu] Impossible to Kill raid bosses and world bosses

If someone could explain why i can't hit a raid boss or a world bosses even a faction boss. Any Creatures that has a (skull) near there names its impossible to kill unless your a gm and use .kill command. Every swing i do its a miss. Maxed weapon skill and high output damage to non skull mobs. I am going insane cause i really wanna run a raid instance properly but once i encounter a boss its a wipe. I am currently run a ArcEmu Trunk 3165. AC Web Ultimate Repack 9.0. 3.3.2.

Do not use a repack, compile the core yourself and it should work.

Yeah, usually in repacks theres bugs, and such, so compile it yourself, and you'll be fine!

I don't get why people say compiling a server yourself directly from the SVN is better than a repack, it's the exact same thing except the repack already comes setup, it's not as if when you compile it yourself all the bugs magically disappear, it depends on the rev of the core.

Well your right, but he could be using an old rev, outdated repack.

As RyeRye stated hes using a older rev and therefore if he is compiling it himself it should be fixed.

Or you could tell him all his available options instead of just telling him to update...

I think I know a solution that does not involve updating though. In your world config disable collision, then it should work (or extract updated maps + vmaps)

He could have downloaded another repack instead of compiling his own. /sigh
Come on guys, put a little bit more effort into your answers.

Thanks for all your support but after a few bottle of Beer I found out using HeidiSQL under World or ascent Creature_names; Data Table and a column name: rank and it ranges from 0 to 4 as in 0 is common 1 is common 2 is elite and 3 is boss i think 4 is vendor. Had to change it from boss to elite and that is it, I know am able to do a successful hit and misses. I am now a happy Camper...

Well, glald we helped you fix it, and yeah stone, sorry about that, but thats just what fixes most of these problems tbh, because some stuff people are using is wayyy outdated.

But if they use some of the most recent repacks will still be up to date, if they are a good repack maker they will test a few revs to see what one worked better, none the less it is reccomended to compile yourself, but not a must do.
