Playing mp3s for the entire server

    Hey all,

I know its possible to play a music mp3 for the whole server to hear, I've seen it done before. Does anyone know how you would perform this?

    Thanks,
    Azshaz

I'm pretty sure that each client would need to have the .mp3 somewhere on their drive to do so, unless there is some way to stream it from the server through the WoW client.

Im sure someone will eventually add support via a external program, but atm, there is no way without editing the clients files for you to be able to play it, which is a massive shame, because that would be epic.

People have been wondering this for many years i think, so its still a unanswered question in a way.

Yes there is that song, but he is asking for custom mp3's, not ones that are in game.

And yes that 92eatos, but then what do you do to get it to work server wide? Its not that simple i dont think.

the only way to do so, is to make a patch that has to be downloaded by users, thats the only way you will play custom mp3 ...

the mp3 file is coded in client and not elsewhere therefore, it can only be done if each client has an identical dbc files,
