Adding custom items and deleting Arcemu

hey guys, couple of questions i have, appreciate any help
i have an arcemu based server with the heroes of northrend pack.

1) Firstly id like to delete the mall included in the pack DB, and have no idea how

2) i used a pack so the login username and pass i use to login to my server is admin, how do i change that and add new accounts to the server.

3) Id like to get rid of the NPCs that teleport players, instead i want portals in main cities only, current portals can be used by both factions i.e hordes can go to a stormwind portal and use it, how do i stop that?

4) how do i know what instances are included in the DB and what items.

5) how do i create custom gear and include it in my server?

any help with these would be appreciated, thanks alot guys

for mall just delete the npc's by typing .npc del or making it a macro and use it on them all

1. For the NPCs make a macro for .npc del 1 and target them as you press it. For the GO's make a macro .go sel and on a new line .go del 1 and use that next to the custom GO's.

2. Get a Database editor such as NaviCat/HeidiSQL and then login with the info Host: localhost User: root password: ascent then go to the Login database and Accounts table and edit in there.

3. Make custom Gameobjects or NPCs in the Display of the Portals for the NPC it requires LUA for the gameobjects just change the type.

4. All instances are included, just go inside them, for items go to World database and check your items table, you need a database editor for this.

5. For beginners go to wow-v.com and make your own items there and download the ArcEmu SQL and run it into your Database Editor and then reload the table it affected eg for a item you would type ingame .server reload items.

thanks, that helped me get rid of the mall the NPCs and eveything what i still cant figureout is how to make portals to cities that are faction specific, and the wow-v.com. i made the item and downloaded the sql file, what do i do next?

You need to look at .lua scripting, take a look over at the guides section.

Open up your DB Editor, such as Navicat, and then execute the sql to the database.

If you feel like doing more to it, but harder work, try a database editor from the programs section.

ok, umm i made a couple items myself, obviously very outragously made, everytime i try to execute one of my items it gives an error "SQL error 1054: Unkonown Column 'MUSTHAVEENTRYID' in 'field list'" but when i downloaded one of the ones made by other people it loads up fine :S

and, i ve downloaded hamachi and made my network on it and written down y hamachi ip, where else do i make changes to make it run on hamachi?

You need to place a entry id in the part where it asks for it... heh.

And you need to change under the realms.conf the bottem ip to your hamachi ip if im right.

ok, got that too thx again, my servers running on hamachi just fine though now i have another probllem for some reasons in my server the exploration isnt working, it discovers everything but the maps dont reveal, how do i fix that? plus the mobs drop too many blue items how do i chnage that? from the drop rates?

For the maps issue, you need to get ad.exe (I think thats it) to extract the maps from your WoW. Take a look in the guides for that .

And edit that under the config files "world.conf" and find drop rates inside it

i dont understand it, all the custom items i create dont work on the server :S. i add them to the DB and i can see the item in the items page in the DB but when i lookupitem ingame it doesnt show. i downloaded loads of gear made by others and even a few of those work. they all showup in the DB but i cant find them ingame. =(

His DB is not out dated.

While ingame do .se rel items

And then it should show them.

.se rel items is short for

.server reload items incase you want to know.

BTW, how do i know if my spells are doing the correct amout of dmage and all or are they even hitting at all? and can i fix spells? blink isnt working on my server
