My brother cant connect to my private server :[

I just recently set up a private wow server (with a mangos repack) so that I could get some footage for an upcoming movie im making. Problem is I need some footage from a different perspective so I'm trying to figure out how to allow my brother (who lives in the same house) to connect to my private server. As it stands, the "realmlist.wtf" (from E:\Program Files\World of Warcraft\Data\enUS) file has nothing but "set realmlist 127.0.0.1". With this I can log into the server and everything is dandy BUT if I change "127.0.0.1" to my actual I.P. address then It no longer works, not even for me. I tried it as 127.0.0.1 and changing HIS realmlist to MY I.P. but no luck there. Any suggestions?

Change the realmlist.wtf on both computers to connect to your LAN IP.
Then log on to your realmd database, go into your realmlist table and replace the IP address that is in the "address" column with your LAN IP.

Use HeidiSQL or Navicat to connect to your MySQL database.
Go into the "realmd" databade and open the table called "realmlist".
Then replace the IP that is in the "address" column with your LAN IP.

That's the easiest explanation I can give^
