The basic, noobest, question in all of noobland.

Ok, I have just dled a torrent pack that contains all 3 Wows. I dled the first and put the patch but magically, when I started Wow, it wasnt the Vanilla version(or atleast, I think it wasnt), but the WOTLK version because their was that big undead dragon at the login screen.

Now, I obviously come here because I dont want to pay to play Wow.

So, first of all, I want to initally find a good Server to play on while I create my own. I have some Qs:

    1. What is the best Server out there? If not one, which ones. Etc...You get the point of the Q.

    2. If I am to go from private server to my own server, is there anything that should/shouldnt be done like "ex: Dl the same program which made the Private server I was playing. Maybe that will cause a bug?"

    3. Whats the best Emu program to make a Offline Server.

    4. Is there a thread that is just the basic of everything Emu-raleted here? I would gladly click some links.

Ty, I hope I aint causing too much trouble.

The basic, noobest, question in all of noobland.

    1. That will not be discussed here.
    2. Don't use repacks.
    3. This depends on people's expectations and preferences.
    4. A lot of threads can be found HERE. Perhaps you can/should learn from them?

    1. Look around XtremeTop100.com - Gaming top 100 list and find one which your looking for, there are loads from Custom, Fun, PvP, Blizzlike to suit all your needs

    2. You should follow one of the compiling guides hereand compile your own Repack from one of the Emulators offical sites, such as ArcEmu, TrinityCore or Mangos.

    3. ArcEmu is stable*, its got easy to use commands and LUA Support incase you want to Script anything extra, Trinity has the least bugs but the commands are hard to use and annoying, its also stable* but its got no LUA support only C++.

    4. There are loads of Guides, help threads and discussion threads in this main section. WoW Emulator Server - MMOwned - World of Warcraft Exploits, Hacks, Bots and Guides

    * = Nothing is 100% stable, it depends on the current Rev.
