mangos server problem

i have followed this guide:

I have done exactly what the guide tells me to.

i start my sql and then restarter. the restarter opens "realmd" and mangosd".




After a while realmd.exe says:

"Could not connect to MySQL database at 127.0.0.1: Can't connect to MySQL server on ´127.0.0.1´ (10061)

Cannot connect to database"

And mangosd.exe says:

"Could not connect to MySQL database at 127.0.0.1: Can't connect to MySQL server on ´127.0.0.1´ (10061)

Cannot connect to world database 127.0.0.1;3306;root;root;mangos



what can i do to fix this? please help me

Your MySQL isnt running. If youre running it as a service, try to start it. Else take a look into your programme list and search for MySQL. You should be able to start it.

i looked in the programme list but i couldnt find MySQL, i decided to start the server again just to try and then my firewall was blocking some stuff, i allowed it and now its working
