Making a Server Public (more specific problem)

Okay, so I think I've narrowed it down a bit more. When I type the DynDNS into my browser, it brings me to my router... so that works... And if I keep Hamachi up after changing the realms address to my DynDNS people can still connect to the logon server using hamachi realmlist... So what I figure is the DynDNS isn't allowing people to connect to the "logonserver" and I have no idea why... There are no firewalls up, we are running vistas. I ran notepad as administrator and I have my hosts file right. I've forwarded the following ports:
    Code:
    80
    3724
    3306
    8129
    8093
    6112
    6881 - 6999
    8050
    3036
So I'm pretty sure those are more than enough of the ports I need. I have DynDNS updater running... What is wrong? If anybody can help me, +Rep...

Please I really need to get this done, there has to be something I havn't done, or am not doing right.

Try exiting your hamachi, and disabling the connection in your network settings, reboot everything, including the SQL it is possible that hamachi has become connection1 and acting as your local host, therefore your hosts file in drivers\etc would become invalid and hamachi would be the acting ip for the dns which wouldnt be fowarded correctly.

    Stoned, hope it made sense.

You said you forwarded those ports. Should I assume you have a router? Have you tried putting your server in the DMZ (De-Militarized Zone) of your router to see if people could pick it up then?

Sometimes routers just have faulty hardware. NOTE: Remove it form the DMZ regardless if it worked or not. You shouldn't have your computer just sitting out on the net like that.

yeah dmz is ok as a debugging tool but very dangerous if you keep it open.

if its sending you to your router page when you put the dns in then its more than likley a port forwarding program. there was a webiste which let you see if ports had opened correctly, i have forgotten the name but im sure a quick google search will get this for you
