Emerald Dream completely removed?

Am i the only one to have noticed that the emerald dream has been removed in wotlk??? cause everytime i try to go to the emerald dream on a wotlk server it doesnt go there it just pops up a loading screen then goes away. Is it really removed?? and if not then why cant i go there?

Add the corret worldport info and have ur maps extracted.

If you are using mangos then I think they have blocked it within the server source code
I have heard that they disabled it because it would crash servers

That's a load of bullshit. A clientside map can't crash the server. However, they may have disabled it, i've seen similar things done before.

You simple need to change the worldmap_info to the correct flags / type and it will work fine. Might need to put trigger cheat on.

Yes harry is right sence wotlk it seems only 25 people can go in at a time so you need .ch tr on and it seems when you look at the maps and hidden display ids it seems they will make a instance/raid

here's how i got into the emerald dream on a arcemu private server i run

open the mysql table AREATRIGGER with navicat or heidisql

look for the deadmines area trigger

change the MAPid from 36 to 169

now when you pass thru the deadmines portal you will load to the emerald dream.

some things to remember, you need to bypass area triggers and be ready to use the .fly command. (i use GMHelper addon so i dont know the exact commands) because you havent changed the X,Y,Z cords you port way below the actual floor of the dream and need to fly up (i didnt change them so it would be easier to restore them back to the deadmines)

the emerald dream requires you to be in a raid group so the bypass triggers will let you right in.

Its a huge unfinshed area with several zones (verdant forest, emerald dream, like 2 others i cant remember.) to exit i had to worldport out

Blizzard would never remove that Area anyway.
It's been there since late Vanilla Wow (About Patch 1.10 and up) because they wanted it to be available to players in TBC or in the end of Vanilla WoW.

They never really got any further than what you can already see in there, I suppose. It's a shame really, because it would be a great place for like...an entire country that would be an instance ^^

Emerald Dream was removed in 3.2

On Arcemu or some other emulators it seems to just be a matter of modifying the DB, but on MangOS I have yet to find a solution. I'll give +3 rep to anyone who finds a solution to this on MangOS.
