Server Programs

Hi,

I was wondering if any WoW private server programs existed? Something similar to YAWE, where all you had to do was launch a program and then you could be inside of your own single player private server. I've tried MANGOS and ArcEMU, but I am technologically retarded when it comes to anything involving MySQL, so that is out of the question. Any more information on this would be great.

(I'm looking to get one of these programs because I am interested in making machinima, however, I cannot seem to find a working map viewer so I am reduced to searching for an emulator program instead.)

You could try a sandbox. These are basically one-man servers on which you can log in and feel the breeze. There's no support for items, spells, talents or what-so-ever.

Log in with a random name, eg "yourname"
Your password is "yourpass" (and nothing else!)

Good luck with your machinima, but you'd still be best with a proper mapviewer.
