    [MANGOS] Hamachi Connection fails! I need help!

    So I downloaded 711's repack and got it working,
    I download Hamachi and got it working on my computer (changed all the needed things:

    Code:
    LoginDatabaseInfo = "5.149.XXX.XX;3306;root;root;realmd"
    LogsDir = ""
    MaxPingTime = 30
    RealmServerPort = 3724
    BindIP = "0.0.0.0"
    PidFile = ""
    LogLevel = 0
    LogTime = 0
    LogFile = "Realmd.log"
    LogTimestamp = 0
    LogFileLevel = 0
    LogColors = ""
    UseProcessors = 0
    ProcessPriority = 1
    RealmsStateUpdateDelay = 20
    WrongPass.MaxCount = 0
    WrongPass.BanTime = 600
    WrongPass.BanType = 0
    Code:
    RealmID = 1
    DataDir = "."
    LogsDir = ""
    LoginDatabaseInfo     = "5.149.XXX.XXX;3306;root;root;realmd"
    WorldDatabaseInfo     = "5.149.XXX.XXX;3306;root;root;mangos"
    CharacterDatabaseInfo = "5.149.XXX.XXX;3306;root;root;characters"
    MaxPingTime = 30
    WorldServerPort = 8085
    BindIP = "0.0.0.0"

    Correct, right?

    We do have some kind of router in our home (I guess) but its secured, blocked, firewalled passworded and stuff so I have no way than Hamachi.
    I have no access to hosts directory (or w/e idk).

    My friend who is trying to connect gets only "Connecting" window on login and he has the realmlist set to my Hamachi IP.

    I don't know if its about ports... What do I do? Need help!

    I had this problem awhile back hard to remember what I did now.

    Do you have a firewall running? If so try allowing ports through it or hamachi if you haven't already. If this doesn't work try disabling it just to see if it is because of the firewall.

    Try forwarding ports in your router, most router sites are 192.168.1.1, 192.168.2.1, or something similar.

    If it still doesn't work and you can login make sure you haven't forgot anything (don't use ManGos so couldn't tell you) because remember you can connect to the localhost but your friend cannot.

    If none of these work at all check to see if you receive an alert from your firewall when your friend tries to connect.

    I have a really secure router too but people can connect fine via hamachi. It may be helpful to know what type of firewall your computer uses.

    Another reason could be if your friend's WoW version is different than yours! That's a very common one check and see what version you are and what version he is by version I mean patch.

    You do not need the connection settings in your database set to your hamachi ip, use your local and you will be fine (I run mangos with a hamachi server so thats how I know), just make sure your realmlist is still set to your hamachi ip.

    the only thing you need to change to make MaNGOS public in Hamachi is the adress field, which you already changed, your configs should say 127.0.0.1 or localhost
