Need some help connecting to my server

I'm using trinitycore 3.1.3 i have everything setup properly on my server machine. all the ips are set for localhost (127.0.0.1).

now i'm trying to connect to the server from my main computer. i modified data\enUS\realmlist.wtf to read 'set realmlist 127.0.0.1'. The only problem is when I open WOW and try to log in, its still trying to connect to the blizz servers.

What exactly am I doing wrong? I know its probably really simple

Make sure you also delete the other rows, setportal US etc.. I advice you to duplicate the original realmlist to another location as a backup before, though.

nope. its still going to blizz servers

You must be doing something wrong in your realmlist.wtf file.

Copy everything inside of it and paste it here please.

I'm having this problem too, never had it before.

My realmlist.wtf look likes this:
Set realmlist (my ip)
Set patchlist (my ip)

Always worked before >_<

This happend to me:

Make sure you are not using the laucnher becuase it will connect you to real WoW
Are you using Vista?

This happend to me the only way i could fix it was by re-installing it to my secound Hard drive cos Vista is touchy when you try change stuff in your Program Files.

Hey there!

Thanks for the quick response! I am using vista, but moved everything to the public folder a while back (ironically to avoid problems like this.) Also I am not using the launcher, yet still connecting me to the US wow servers. Did a quick search to see if there was another realmlist, but no go there Ugh! :confused:

Okay, try going to Control Panel, Folder options and click view tab and make sure that Show Hidden files is on also try take the relamlist out and remaking it.

For anyone having this same problem, get rid of the Battle.net.dll file!
