WoW 1.12.1

I need help making my WoW 1.12.1 server public. I have no idea what to do, i get confused because all the tutorials tell me to put my newly made DNS Server name into where the old local host 127.0.0.1 used to be it never matches up. I have tried hamachi and non hamachi and i know for a fact i am doing something wrong. I know this was a very vague description but i really do not know where to begin.
I would appreciate anyhelp at all

u need to link it to ur own ip , 127.0.0.1 is the localhost ull not be able to host it from there

i just need to know where to put my ip after i have it and do i need to forward any ports or anything like that

what emu are you using?
if you're using MaNGOS;
1. just open up your database
2. go to the realmd database
3. find the realmlist table
4. and once you're there find the box called address and change it from 127.0.0.1 to your hamachi IP or DNS.

I know this is a little vague, but I haven't done this in a while. :P

Ok thanks yea i figured it out yesterday i found a nice little tut for it but thanks for the response, because if i can just use my IP that makes it easier and yes i am using mangos
