What kind of server do I want?

I'm to this the whole thing but by now I've picked up that it's worth the trouble to make yout own pack so I'm start reading up on it.

Maybe you guys can help me out..

I noticed that some servers have way more stuff compaired to others exm.
Working DK area
Working BG's
Cool items from teleporters to gear.
custom towns (not just lines of npc's)

What would the best pack be if I wanted the most blizzlike server(complete as possible) but still be easy to add custom stuff but not as cazy as most fun servers.

Basically I just want the most stable core as possible, but still tons of features & room to customize.
Preferably 3.1.0
