unable to make server public any help please ?

yes but when it comes to server hosting im a newb lol where do i check my forwarded ports ? and wont that make my computer not protected ? and could i just play on that computer im hosting the server on ? ( just need it public for me and my friends(3) to get on to create mobs and stuff )

If its just you and a few friends i would suggest hamachi

All you must do is change the listening ip on your realm to your hamachi ip. This is located at the top of the hamachi window.

Where exactly does your friends get stuck? Serverlist, loginscreen? etcetc.

i would say you are gonna have to do most of it again but yes for that part i would say it will make things alot easier
