1 Simple Answer. It took lot's, LOT's of time. Weeks, Mabye Months. Arcemu DB is Much Much Different then Mangos. And There is no point to do that. There is bunch of good mangos db, that is much better that ArcEmu. For The Mangos!

Well his opinion is actually the answer...

The structures of the two DB's are far too different for this to be an easy conversion and unless there is a current tool for conversion that i havent heard about you are either going to have to spend months trying to convert your custom data or you can just recreate it.

There is no simple way to do it. GL

But just for your information Arcemu is the best so i would stick with that.

There was a discussion about this in the Discussion area, there are many converters out there but not all of them are 100%, meaning some things will error, meaning you would loose SOME of the things in your database.

if your that desperate then you could just abckup your current custom things, but them in another DB, convert that and any errors you get delete that item/GO or w/e it is and do that one manually since the rest will be done with the converter.

    Hope this Helped.

Why are you making everything sound so complicated? It doesn't take months unless you only work on it 5 minutes a day or something. And in another thread you posted that defining a GM in source code is nearly impossible and people who can do that should be developing the core. FYI, that's probably one of the first thing you can do when modifying the core, it's 1 line of code. Are you trying to prevent people from learning or are you just very pessimistic?

But yes, it would probably be easier and faster to recreate the custom data than trying to update or create a new converter, and you would get a new and fresh database with quality (UDB).

But just for your information Arcemu is the best so i would stick with that.
    That's your opinion, not facts.
