You can't really fix it, you'll have to wait for mangos / Arcemu / Hearthstone to figure it out. If you know what you're doing, you could code some minor fixes for them yourself, but that's about it.

Find out the display id's and make them mounts, you wont get the spell functions, but you will get the look.

you could change the displayid of a current mount or make a new mount with the displayid you want, for example the MechanoChooper
