Arcemu and Mangos Databases in same Connection?

Hello. I have a arcemu private server and would like to test a mangos server too. Can I have the different databases in one HeidiSQL-Connection?
So I have the databases for the arcemu server and mangos in there.
I guess I just have to execute the mangos databases in there and edit some CONF-files ("127.0.0.1;3306;root;mangos;mangosd" to "127.0.0.1;3306;root;ascent;mangosd")

Dont use the two emu's together. They will **** up. Shut down the ascent first then use the mangos. Dont use at same time. But yes you can have two diff emu DB's

Yeah you can, you need one database for mangos and one for arcemu. And change the configs of course

I dont know much things in Heidi-SQL, but in Navicat you can have a great overview over your databases in one connection.

Edit: ^ and what Performer said, dont use them together ^.^

How do I make a new MySQL server for the Mangos server then? I tested with another port but it didn't work...
I didn't get any SQL-started in the Mangos repack so...

Rite. You just setup a mangos server as normal. Just dont boot the ascent server up at the same time. Because they will conflict with each other and mess up.

And if you ran the mysql from a batch file. Id recommend installing MySQL from MySQL :: The world's most popular open source database and setting it up like that. There is plenty of guides on the forums about this.

I did install MySQL (5.1.33) from the website but when I tried to make the new server with another port I got this: "The service could not be started".

What you mean it could not be started. What are you trying to boot it from? It should be already running in background.
