Hmm, it could be something wrong in the scripts that the npcs may be having. Or they may be set to a friendly faction look into that.

I'm relatively new to wow emulation, I finally got a server working after following sting231's guide this one
But my char can't melee or spell hit any mobs, the servers are stable and everything else in the world seems fine.
I'm running
Joveed's Repack: v2.1.0
ArcEmu Trunk: r2337
Wow: v3.0.8.9464
I can't find a lot of info on this problem, Do I need an updated DB? or to update some of my SQL? Kinda lost any help would be much appreciated.
i have the same pack and problem. its because the weapon speed is 0.00 and the dps is 1.$.
How do we fix this?
Yeah, I just realised the same thing, spells kill fine but no melee hits. weapon dmg says 1.$. Ranged weapons are the same, no hits, 1.$ dps.
Also, Seal of Righteousness adds 0 holy dmg probably possibly the calc for its dmg factors weapon speed?
Reroll mage :P
Ah, I discovered that its a problem with Johved's 2.1.0 repack due to a bug in NCDB 64 I think. Going to try 2.0.6 and hope a solution is found soon.
Pity because it was an otherwise stable and complete pack. /sob
Why do you use a repack?
I've only just started to learn, I first tried L0st's guide I got everything compiled but I had problems with WhyDB not letting me import Logon info, so I thought i'd start more basic.
Ill give compiling from scratch another go later today.
If you're using a custom made item, the speed needs to be 0.10 (0100) plus on speed, and has to have 1-9000 Damage/Stat for it to work effectively, I think that's your problem, if I read the post correctly.
Repacks are well and good when you're just grabbing the ropes of emulating, but eventually you'll have to reach out of the box and try the actual Cores. Compile your own server, even if you don't tweak it at all, and do what most, if not all, successful private servers do: Gain control over the core yourself.
It's so much better, and you won't have to beg a particular person to fix bugs, you'll be able to do bug fixes as well as server tweaks yourself![]()
