[Help]Error running MySQL

Hi im getting a error when i run MySQL this is the error i get

MySQL is starting with mysql\bin\my.cnf  <console>
090301 23:09:46 [ERROR] Fatal error: Can't open and lock privilege tables: Table 'mysql.host doesn't exist

MySql couldn't be started

so my question is can i fix this? and if i can could you tell me how ( I typed the error up so i might of miss typed something) Thanks for looking at this post Mr.Orange :wave:

Seems like To me you deleted your MYSQL table in your database.

MYSQL servers use the MYSQL table for this kinda stuff so you cant delete it.

Try Reinstalling to fix

I have ran into thos problem too just reinstall MYSQL but before you do back up the files inside the MYSQL folder in myprograms on to say your desktop copy and paste just incase it deletes also delete your instance made then remake it then execute mysql if DB is deletedput back up back into file then reload MYSQL and it should reappear i ran into this problem too i accidently droped mysql DB. So basicly i can just re download the repack i have and it would be fixed because before this didnt happen

Redownloading or reinstalling should fix it, yes.

Unless the repack got built-in database it won't fix it. Most often repacks only contain world and logon tables but the tables you need is from the MySQL database. I suggest you dump the previous tables and reinstall MySQL and then executing the database again, should solve it.
