Some script bugs / i'm new to this

    Hello Ladies,

i just downloaded "Arcemu Rev.780 + Sun, Lua" some days ago, the server is running kinda fine, ther are just some major bugs like gm's/admins are not able to revive 'n stuff. So, my basical questions are the following ones - keep in mind, that i i'm very new to this and i just checked it out for some hours..

What scripting code is needed to fix/change/add commands, like to fix .revive for example.
Where am i able to modify GM's access to commands.
Which are the files that have to be edited to change commands and stuff?
Is there a server version which has more already working scripts for instances, more working quests, npc's etc?

Yet, i don't want to host any server nor anything, i just want to get into it and might start about hosting it for me and some friends.

    Best Regards,
    r0fl

Well you might not be using the right commands. Also

To script the code to fix/chance/add commands is in the core. Last time i checked Arcemu was written in C++ so you will need Microsoft visual C++ edition to view the source code and change it. But first you need to obtain the source code to the core. Then you have to compile the core and use that. So, no you cant edit the commands. It would take very long since you would have to change a bunch of other stuff in the core.

Then is there a version where it's easier to edit and that is less buggy?

You can download arcemu's source code from their SVN. There is no version where its easier to edit, because if you change one thing you have to change a bunch of other things. That might bring up a bug on the server then when you fix that bug that fix can bring up 10 other new bugs. Well Wrath of the Lich king just came out about couple months ago, dont expect for it to be non-buggless give it some time . Look at Burning crusade repacks....Their almost 100% perfect almost no bugs!! Give wotlk a few months and see how much better it will get

actually, i always have been talking about Burning Crusade. Unfortunatly the Version i have has alot of Bugs in it. Could you link me one of those almost bugless versions? :-)

Thanks for your quick answers by the way.
