    [Help]Website Problems

    Hi There,

so ive set up my own website and a DNS on the DYNdns site, ive changed my hosts file to:
    INTERNAL IP <dns name>
    EXTERNAL IP <dns name>
    127.0.0.1 <dns name>

    ive forwarded the port 80.

but when i try and connect on my browser, it just sends me to my router page, i did fix this about a year and half ago but i forgot how, it probably somthing so obvious that it makes me look like an ass but yeh, i need help

    any ideas? thanks in advance

did you type the domain name in the hosts.file?
    edit: nvm can't read

If it is fowaring you to the router, than the port still isn't open. Make sure the configurations in your router are saved and they are going to the correct host address.

im right in thinking that i should forward it as my external ip? it wont accept 0.0.0.0 so i changed it to my external IP which i think is the main cause.

my router is strange, so i put in the http_server and it auto-forwards port 80 and asks for an ip, if its meant to be my internal router one then thats the problem
