Adding all of custom content to the 3.0.8

I have spent weeks and weeks adding stuff to my server, and now i need to update it. Is there a way that i can do this without getting rid of ALL of the custom content... I need to bump it up to 3.0.8, But i need all that stuff to stay! Please HELP! Will give +Rep x2!!!

when you download the database, search somewhere in it for a folder named updates or something like that, then there should be a folder in there with sql's run the ones from whichever version you had up to the most recent one and it should keep all of your old custom updates
