    Adding .MPQ's to Private Servers?

I've been trying to find this for awhile now and no dice.

If anyone knows of a guide that explains how to install custom .MPQ's into your private server, I would be extremely grateful.

I don't think it's possible, well, maybe if you make a kind of your own patch system. You could also try to change some in ad.exe or something to make it extract your mpq file if you put it in the same folder as the other mpqs. like patch-v.MPQ
Then you get it at a .map file or something. If you plan to make your own zone.

    I have actually no idea.

Damn, So there's no way to turn an MPQ into like a SQL and just make it part of the server?

Like moffe said youd need your own patching system and add it to another patch already there. If it was probably possible, It would be awsome.

Well how do you get a custom model edit into the game then?

I'm still new with the whole emu servers, hell I still can't figure out how the !@$# MaNGOS works! =\

You just do everything that would would do with a Model Edit, but apply it both serverside and clientside, and everyone that connected to your private server would be required to download that certain MPQ as well as a working model edit fix in order to play on your server. Not too hard, but you'll need to know a great deal of model editing knowledge not to mention the emulation side of it.
As well, MaNGOS is the worst place to start. Try ArcEmu- it's not the best, but it's fairly easy to start with and it's got great documentation.

Well I have several different ArcEmu repacks going. I want to get away from the repacks though as they seem extremely buggy. Can ArcEmu be "blizzlike," because everything I've tried the mobs just stand there and don't even defend themselves. Who would want to play that! >.>! If you know of a blizzlike repack that's fully function able, please let me know.

Unfortunately as for the model edits, it sounds like it's too much work to be realistic. Even if I went through the trouble to set it up, it would discourage people from using the server.

    Thanks for your help.

+Rep to all 3 of you.

That is very true, hence why no servers (or, every server except a select few) don't bother with adding MPQ's.
And, ArcEmu is focusing on being Blizzlike, it's the repackers that make it so un-blizzlike. Try compiling yourself, or using just a basic core instead of a repack, and then add in WhyDB or NCDB, and enjoy the blizzlikeness!
