so im trying to make pvp tokens and vote coins but im not sure what type of item they are. what im looking for is basicly a simple item that will only sit in your inventory you cant equip it or anything it would just be used for quests

Simple. Go to wowhead, find a junk item you can't use/equip ingame, add &xml to the end of its URL and copy the values
